Value-added services, Groupage and partload, national

Bring Logistics offers a range of value-added services that simplify your daily logistics.

Notification
For an additional surcharge, Bring Logistics manages notification to the recipient of the impending delivery. This is particularly beneficial when recipients require notification prior to delivery. The surcharge is per notification, and is detailed on our price list.

E-invoice
Bring Logistics can provide electronic invoicing in two different ways – either direct by EDI/XML from our invoicing system to your ERP/Account system, or e-mailed to you as a PDF file.

Credit consignments
Bring Logistics can deliver credit consignments with a maximum value up to NOK 100,000.- specified on the waybill. This service is always agreed to and paid by the sender, and package must be clearly marked with delivery restrictions – otherwise, Bring Logistics accepts no liabilities. Nor will Bring Logistics assume liability for adequate funding on the part of the recipient. The surcharge is per consignment, and is detailed on our price list.

Crane service
When needed, customers can utilise our crane service. Prices are either time- or assignment-based.

Marking
Bring Logistics offers solutions to pre-mark goods from supplier and shipper. These are based on our proprietary MINe customer solution, which enables you to supply information about the distribution of goods, which is then dispatched directly to the recipient.

MINe Extranet
MINe is the e-business solution that Bring Logistics offers to customers, applicable to both domestic and international Groupage and Partload transport. MINe simplifies transport-related activities for the customer, making it easy to for the individual to communicate directly with our IT systems. Statistics, transport cost calculations and track & trace can be extracted. It is also possible to retrieve documentation or send it directly from our document archives. Information about shipments that are delayed, due to problems in our production or force majeure events, are sent to our customers via e-mail.

Returns service
If the original shipment is handled by Bring Logistics, we can also manage returns and re-dispatching. Additional freight and handling charges will apply.

Late booking
In most cases, cargo bookings can be accepted after 10.00 a.m. for pickup the same day, against a certain surcharge. Deadlines and restrictions are agreed locally.

Security advice for handling Dangerous Goods
The sender bears the primary responsibility for ensuring that dangerous goods are correctly marked, packaged and documented for transport. Bring Logistics can help to ensure that your personnel are fully knowledgeable about classifications, documentation and proper packaging and procedures for the safe transport of dangerous goods. We can provide consultation as well as training.

Tracking shipments
If you are a registered customer, you can follow your Bring Logistics shipment all the way to the electronically signed receipt by your recipient, either via package identification or shipment number. This service is available either on MINe or via the Internet.

Transport insurance
Bring Logistics has excellent resources to provide its customers with transport insurance. Either centrally or locally, we can provide you all the necessary information and support relating to transport insurance.

 Transport insurance Bring Logistics is insured according to NSAB 2000, @ 17 SDR per kg. We can also provide our customers with transport insurance. Please contact us for more information.

Third-party payment
For a surcharge, and on a consignment-specific basis, a party other than shipper or consignee can be registered as payer, but that party must be registered with Bring Logistics. In the event that the third party defaults on payment, Bring Logistics retains the right to invoice the consignee with an additional surcharge of 10% of the gross freight charge.

Local delivery
If a recipient’s address is far from normally trafficked routes, delivery will be made to the nearest terminal and recipient notified by telephone or post. Delivery is then made on the recipient’s request, after agreement with the local terminal. Surcharges are consignment specific.

Exchange of EUR pallets
Pallets are considered part of the packaging and are a prerequisite to speedy, expeditious transportation. For a small surcharge per unit, Bring Logistics can take responsibility for the exchange and disposal of pallets.
